  • This is a well-established unagi restaurant with a long history. Known for its signature charcoal-grilled eel, the rich aroma of Binchotan charcoal added a delightful depth of flavor to the dishes. We tried the unagi set meal and the unagi tamagoyaki (Japanese omelet with eel) — both were absolutely delicious. The eel was tender with a perfectly crisp exterior, glazed with a savory-sweet sauce that balanced the flavors beautifully. The tamagoyaki was soft and fluffy, with the eel adding a delightful richness to every bite. If you're a fan of traditional Japanese cuisine, this spot is definitely worth a visit.

  • A traditional Japanese restaurant that serves Grilled Unagi. We ordered a set lunch each and was treated to a very well grilled Unagi that served with rice. The restaurant had two levels with the upper floor being away from the kitchen and more quiet. Price was reasonable, and service was pretty fast. We didn't have to wait for our table.

  • Good price. Fresh crispy eel very tasty. Eel specialty shop. Chanced upon. I've had those super famous ones in Yokohama etc and this is about the same. For convenience, unbeatable. 5/5 would recommend. Great service too, accepting of foreigners. I would return for sure if craving eel.

  • The food was reallyyyyy delicious and the quantity is ample full and totally worth the price. The waiting time is quite long but given the food taste and quality, I can see why and it's really worth the wait. A must try place for sure. Just one issue I had was, on arrival, one should take their queue number from the machine, which is inside the shop and no-one guides you there till you ask. I wasn't aware of this system as the shop looked traditional Japanese type, hence I assumed that one just queues up. Till I asked someone for how long I should wait at the counter when I noticed others coming after me getting inside the shop, I was just waiting without any number given. I noticed many Japanese people had the same confusion and waited without any guidance written outside or mentioned by anyone. Other than that, I loved this place. The ambience, food, service, politeness, etc., was up to the mark for me. Thank you for such amazing food.

  • Chanced upon this place while walking and finally got a chance to have a go at this meal. Ordered eel bowl (normal 2/3) and another which you can pour broth over the rice to get its full flavour! Added on eel liver as well which was great. Very nice atmosphere and cosy to have a nice quiet dinner.

  • My soul left my body when I took a bite. Eel was perfectly grilled. Nice light crisp on the outside and somewhat melts in my mouth. Sauce was perfect for me too. I tried the best Unagi restaurant in Singapore and it’s not even close to what this humble establishment offers.

  • Its pretty expensive, but worth it. It's a hidden local joint, unassuming entrance with fresh eel grilled on the spot. Ordered the 2/3 eel on rice set (2900yen) and tamago (forgot how much). Staff speaks little English but menu with pictures is sufficient to order. I love unagi!
